To the ‘people who care for us’, thank you

We have this line on our website and in all we do, and it's this 'the people who care for us'. Some of our listeners and followers aren't childless. They're childfree, somewhere undecided or parents.

We love that they're out there doing their bit to help people who are childless. We heard of a parent who attended a business talk where the speaker spoke only to parents. She emailed the organiser to say how excluding that was to people who aren't parents and not always by choice.

Recently, two parents recommended the Full Stop to their network. One became a consultancy project for an arts organisation that will help our CIC income, but best of all, it’ll help people to feel included and seen when the piece is published. That leads to media interest, and so it grows.

These are just a few examples of when a quiet revolution can take hold. When childlessness is talked about online - those comments are still scary places - but there might be others who know someone who is childless and prepared to take a stand. Who might advocate for our wellbeing.

Thank you, you're always welcome to ask us about what works, and maybe that's a future podcast? How to advocate? What do you think? Let us know.
